Stephen has had a life long interest in wildlife and it was this interest that led to him working as a countryside ranger across Scotland.

He's worked as a ranger for various organisations from the Scottish Lowlands to spectacular coastal sites and to the high tops of the Cairngorm mountatins. He has also worked in black grouse and red squirrel conservation for national coservation bodies.

Wildlife photography was a natural progression from regular observation of flora and flora to trying to capture inconic images of out native wildlife. Stephen now works on a freelance basis for companies offering walking and wildlife tours in bonnie Scotland.
